“Go Around”
by Ken Dravis
OUR MESSAGE HAS A SOUNDTRACK
You can always go around.
Long before Go-Arounds Are Awesome! existed, professional pilot and singer-songwriter Ken Dravis turned one of aviation’s most important safety lessons into a song pilots could remember.
About the Song
“Go Around” appears on Ken Dravis’s album Flying: Home to You. Told from a pilot’s perspective, the song humorously captures the temptation to salvage a bad approach—and the much better choice of simply going around. Its memorable message has made the song well known among pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
